Voting Information
Voting on Election Day, November 8, 2022
On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, seventy-two (72) Election Day voting sites will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bernalillo County Voters may vote in-person or hand-deliver a completed absentee ballot to any of these locations.

- Highland High School – 4700 Coal Ave SE, 87108
- La Mesa Elementary School – 7500 Copper Ave NE, 87108
- Van Buren Middle School – 700 Louisiana Blvd SE, 87108

Same-day registration
Voters can register on the same day that they vote with a five-minute wait. Same day registration is available at all voting sites, both for Early Voting and on Election Day, November 8.
For same-day registration, voters will need to show one of these:
Tell the poll worker, “I’m here to same-day register.”
For same-day registration, voters will need to show one of these:
- a valid New Mexico driver’s license
- a valid New Mexico ID
- a valid student ID from a New Mexico educational institution, plus a current fee statement with their address on it
Tell the poll worker, “I’m here to same-day register.”
Voting by absentee ballot
Any eligible voter can vote by absentee ballot. If you have already received an absentee ballot, you can hand-deliver it to any voting site on Election Day or use one of the Ballot Drop Boxes.

Sample Ballot
To look at a sample ballot before you vote, go to https://voterportal.servis.sos.state.nm.us/WhereToVote.aspx. Fill out the short Voter Registration Search and click Search. On the next page, click My Sample Ballot (on the left), then View Sample Ballot (in a box under your Voter Registration Information).
Early Voting
Early voting concluded on Saturday, November 5th.
